Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson has etched his name in the franchise record books.
On the Vikings opening drive, Jefferson made team history for the most receptions in the first three years of a career. Early in the first quarter, Jefferson hauled in his third reception of the day and surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss.

Moss previously held the record with 226 receptions.
The drive was really good for Jefferson. He was involved early and often with four receptions for 55 yards. He was hit twice on out breaking routes where he gained separation with relative ease by using shoulder fakes and explosive cuts.

He almost scored on his final catch of the drive but was stopped just short. Dalvin Cook took scored a 1-yard rushing touchdown to take a 7-0 lead.
Entering Sunday, Jefferson had 28 receptions for 393 yards and two touchdowns in four games. He is a two-time Pro Bowler after entering league as a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
This isn’t the first, nor will it be the last team record that Jefferson breaks in a Vikings uniform.
